This descriptive database contains the archives of the family "Rossi del Paolino" , from Arzo, canton Ticino (Switzerland). The archive spans over around two centuries (1700-1950) and contains documents gathered by five contributors (lawyers, judges). The archive is located in the family home at Arzo. Please note that some documents are still being inventoried and described.
How to search the database:
- Global Search and Advanced search are available in the Header bar: click in the Search field and select the drop-down menu (Global or Advanced Search). You may search any word within the archival descriptions.
- In the Global Search use the operator "AND" to combine two or more words.
- The Browse menus allows to browse complete lists of archival descriptions, as well as digital objects, authority records (for people and organizations), places, subjects. Each term is linked to the correspondent archival descriptions.
Information about the database:
The default display is in French ( menus, fields) and the content is in the original language (italian)
To switch the user interface navigate the "globe" icon on the right side of the Header bar and select the language you wish (French or Italian)
